3 Days tour in Mongolia

Terelj National park is recognized as a part of the huge Khan Khentii reserve and was established as a Strictly Protected Area in 1992. The park's most spectacular features are its huge granite blocks and cliffs as well as meadows rich in wild flowers. Terelj offers fascinating rock formations against a background of pine covered mountains. The average elevation is about 1600 m., with peaks reaching 2900 m. The park is rich in flora and fauna and reminds of beautiful Alpine valleys.

Day 1. Arrival in Ulaanbaatar  (UB), Mongolia

-     On arrival, you are welcomed by “Adventure Mongolia” representative. The guide meet the group. Quick introductory meeting, breakfast in the city. Today before afternoon you will visit to the National Museum of Mongolia where you will see artifacts from Mongolia from the Stone Age to the present and display of development of Mongolian arts and culture. The Natural History Museum is the oldest public museum in Mongolia, which has basic branches of studies and displyas of Geology, Geography, Flora and Fauna, Paleontology and Anthropology.

-     -13.00. Lunch at restaurant. After lunch you will visit Bogd Khaan’s Winter PalaceMuseum. Bogd Khaan Javzandamba was last (eighth) Mongolia’s empire leader of theacracy and state. The musuem displyas religious and cultural artifacts dating from the 17th century to the begining of the 20th century. After museum start drive to observe the Highest Statue of Chinggis Khaan. Then continue driving to “Terelj” National Park to the tourist camp “Tamir”.

-     Dinner at tourist camp and overnight in ger or Mongolian ‘house, home” is referred as the White Pearl of the Steppe. It is not only practical in daily use but also holds many meanings for Mongolians.

Day 2.  – Stay in Terelj

-     Breakfast at the camp

-     After breakfast drive for walking tour to Turtle Rock, visit nomadic family

-     lunch  at the camp

-     After lunch free time

-     Dinner

-     Overnight stay in ger of tourist camp

Day 3. –. Drive to Ulaanbaatar.

-     Breakfast at the camp. We will come back UB

-     Transfer to the hotel.

-     We will visit the Gandan Monastery, the biggest Buddhist monastery in Ulaanbaatar. One of the temples hosts the tallest 80 foot tall statue standing Buddha statue in Asia – Megjid Janraisag, the Buddha of Future.

-     Today is spent on guided city tour of UB high – lights include Sukhbaatar Main Square, monument of “Chinggis Khaan”.

-     Lunch. After lunch  visit cashmere factory shop “Gobi “, souvenir shop.

-     Attend the evening Mongolian national folk songs and dance ensemble.

-     Have welcome dinner at restaurant.

-     Overnight at the hotel.
